Driving the narrow, winding, hilly roads of the Emmental region in the Canton of Bern, Switzerland

The Emmental, Schweiz. Narrow, winding backroads, and across a beautiful hilly landscape, this is my favorite kind of driving, the Emmental region has all of it. We start the drive in the small Town of Wichtrach in the Aaretal (Aare Valley) and heading east on narrow country roads towards the Emmental. We pass through the Town of Oberdiessbach and Eggiwil, before we start our climb up to the Restaurant Blapbach. We stopped at the Blapbach Restaurant and had Coffee, plus a great home made Dessert. We continue our drive east and down the hill, and pass through the Town of Trubschachen at the bottom of the Emmental valley. Next is the small Town of Trub, where we start our climb up to the 1,196meter (3,923ft) high Änzisattel (Änzisattel Pass). The drivable road ends at the top of the Änzisattel, which also concludes this drive.
