Driving in Switzerland and Italy: Autostrada A2 & A9 E35 from Bellinzona to Como

In this video you can drive along on Autostrada A2 E35 (Switzerland) and A9 E35 (Italy) from Bellinzona to Como. This is one of the busiest and most well-known highway routes crossing the Alps, connecting the North and South of Europe. Bellinzona together with Lugano and Chiasso are some of the larger cities on the A2 through the Italian part of Switzerland (Ticino). Lugano is the largest city with about 60.000 inhabitants and situated right on the lake. This is also where traffic gets more intense as you can see in the video. Chiasso is on the border with Italy. After crossing the border with Italy it's not much further to Como, of course famous because of lake Como. The A9 is relatively distant from the city Como as it bypasses the city at a higher altitude.
