We used to never add yeast nutrients, then we started using Fermaid O, and lately, Go-Ferm. But, we always wondered about a side by side comparison and... decided to just do it. I know this will make many people angry, and become quite controversial, but, the truth is, we didn't care which way was best, we just wanted to know. So there's no agenda here. We just want to make good mead and wine and cider and beer. This test was mead, and under specific conditions, so this test is not definitive or conclusive except in these exact conditions. Changes in yeast, temperature, ingredients and starting gravity may change the results so please, do NOT use this one test to prove every situation. But, it's interesting nonetheless!
