Discussion „Can we recognize intelligent life in the Universe?“

Watch Nobel Laureate and astrophysicist, Michel Mayor, and astrophysicist and founder of Starmus festival, Garik Israelian, in conversation with science popularizer, David Eicher, talking about the potential for discovering intelligent life outside of our own planet, solar system and galaxy. How far along are we from encountering intelligent life? What should we do when we encounter it? Should space exploration focus on finding intelligent life or additional resources for our planet? The discussion is organized by the ESET Foundation in cooperation with Starmus Festival, which will take place in Bratislava, Slovakia in May 2024, to kick-start a global conversation about “the future of our home planet”, the theme of Starmus VII.
