DISCODELICOS - Session 9 / Chuco Garcia - Rolas de Tejas
#Discodelicos is back with another session, this time featuring Chuco Garcia (@chucogarcia on IG)!
Chuco comes to us from the Lone Star State with a box of Texan heavies, showcasing a nice spread of the varied Texas Latin sounds that we’ve all grown to love. From some lesser-known funky cuts, to blends of southwest cumbia and soul, to Chicano anthems, this session has a bit of everything.
FYI, Chuco isn’t just a selector and collector. He’s a newly-minted film director, and his most recent project is a biopic of the Texas crooner Dimas Garza called “You’ve Succeeded.” If it comes through your town, it’s definitely worthy of a watch.
