Did VIKINGS use AXES because they were.. POOR?

In answer to my previous video ( https://youtu.be/6bTBlT_8dkU ) about why the Nordic peoples (AKA vikings) loved axes so much, a lot of people seemed to think it was because they were poor, lacked resources, didn't have swords and were generally lacking. I don't think this is correct and in this video I attempt to set out why I believe that.
