Naked Bikes are by far, the better choice for a road bike than a super sport. Sport bikes were developed for and cater to track environments. They shine on tracks, but fall short for road riding needs. Naked bikes originated from and are based on sport bike platforms, but are modified to accommodate road riding needs. Naked bikes might not have as much pure performance as sport bikes do, but they make up for it with their ease of use for road riding. Naked bikes have much more neutral ergonomics, providing a more comfortable experience on the road while still having more agility than other styles of bikes. Naked bikes are also much cheaper than their sport bike counter parts, often with a larger feature set compared to their sport bike counter parts. Naked bikes are also cheaper to insure and have cheaper labor rates for mechanical work than sport bikes do. Naked bikes are also much less flamboyant than sport bikes and provide a level of stealth that sport bikes lack. Law enforcement typically won't pay attention to naked bikes the same way they will pay attention to sport bikes, leading to fewer encounters and traffic stops on naked bikes than on sport bikes. Naked bikes are also tuned for road riding with more low end torque and street-appropriate gearing, making maneuvers easier on the road.
