The Polygon Law of Vectors states that:
If a number of vectors are acting on a particle simultaneously and can be represented in both magnitude and direction by the sides of a polygon taken in order, then the resultant is given by the closing side of the polygon taken in the opposite order.
In simple terms, if you place vectors head-to-tail one after another, the resultant vector is the vector drawn from the tail of the first vector to the head of the last vector. This concept is vital for CBSE, SSC, and JEE aspirants as it builds the foundation for topics like equilibrium of forces, projectile motion, and vector resolution.
