The air, thick with the smell of formaldehyde and something else, inexpressibly disgusting, enveloped like a sticky spider's web. Monsters were born here, in a maze of concrete corridors and cells locked behind rusty bars, among bulky equipment covered with a layer of dust and someone's long-dried blood.
