DA4A - Digital Navigators Challenges Discussion
Many people still struggle with accessing and utilizing technology in their daily lives. Digital Navigators are trusted guides with specific training who help connect community members with groups and programs that provide low-cost home internet service, an affordable computing device, and foundational digital literacy training based on their specific needs. The Patterson Foundation has trained over 30 Digital Navigators in 8 nonprofit organizations across the region. Watch this panel discussion from the 2025 Suncoast Connect DA4A Symposium to learn from two lead Digital Navigators - Brent Giangregorio, Director of Client Services at Women’s Resource Center and Neirda Thompson-Pemberton, Founder of FUNducation - along with moderator and DA4A initiative lead Cheri Coryea on the challenges people are still facing. Hear how they have successfully helped people navigate technology issues to improve employability skills and education as well as how you can incorporate Digital Navigators into your organization.
