Creality Scan Raptor Vs Otter - Accuracy test showdown

Both scanners were tested with high quality steel drill bits in 6, 5, 4, 3 and 2 mm diameter. Here's what I found. Otter: - It can scan object up to 4 mm in diameter as it can't complete 3.0mm drill bits. - In marker mode, it will track better if the object is in lighter color (less contrast with markers) - Otter accuracy is around 250 um (0.25 mm) when scanning small object. Raptor: - It can scan and complete the object with the size of 2.0mm in diameter. - The accuracy is high. Only 2 - 40 um (0.002 - 0.040 mm) - It can practically replace 2 digits vernier caliper.
