In this video we're going in depth with the Creality Hi Combo 3D printer and multi material CFS - I'll walk you through everything from the unboxing to our first print in both single color and multi color mode using the CFS for automated color changes resulting in beautiful multi color prints.
We will also discuss strategies to optimize the use of the Creality CFS to gain material efficiency and reduce waste, ie. print multiple multi-color prints simultaneously to reduce the time per part and CFS waste per printed part.
If you do not yet own the Creality Hi Combo - you can find it at the best price below!

For the very best print results with the Creality Hi, naturally Creality has their own RFID filament:

The Creality Hi features a 260x260x300mm build volume and many of the usual offerings of a modern 3D printer. This includes closed loop X/Y motors, touch screen, wifi connectivity, on board time-lapse camera, integrated lighting, and connectivity to the Creality cloud app. You can also scan in your RFID filament using the sensor at the side of the machine if you are using it without the CFS.
The Creality Print slicer is also well equipped with a ton of material presets for very popular filament brands and the profiles are suitable for those other brands such as eSun, Polymaker, Bambu Lab etc. As you should expect, the Creality Hyper PLA branded filament prints excellent on their own machines.

Overall, I would recommend the Creality Hi Combo for beginner and advanced users alike. Right now I believe the Hi model will originally be available with CFS only but I'm almost certain it will also be available on it's own which would be great value as a single color printer.
This machine marks a new generation of Creality bed slinger models with closer loop servo-stepper motors and they are pushing the technology forward in the desktop 3D printer market. As always, the price is very competitive and they will be trying to reclaim any lost ground from competitors such as Bambu Lab.
If you are new to 3D printing I still think you should have realistic expectations of the learning curve involved with the hobby. The machine works well out of the box but if you happen to run into issues you will likely get frustrated at first. Take a deep breath, stick with it and don't give up! It doesn't matter if you have a Creality, Bambu Labs, or any other popular high speed printer of this era, eventually you will need to do some troubleshooting. Stick with it!
