Originally, I had envisioned a different frame, planning to play higher up. But after searching the hillside and cliffs, something about it didn’t feel right. On my way back to the car to retrieve my harp, I caught sight of breathtaking rocks far below—hidden behind a hill—where waves crashed all around them. I knew I had to play there. With my harp and dolly in tow, I carefully inched down the steep, zigzagging trails winding toward the shore. I was nearly there when I froze, awestruck by the sheer power of the waves. Just as doubt crept in, a kind soul on the trail reassured me that it was safe, so I pressed on with caution. Sitting before the relentless energy of the water, with the waves surging in front of me, I felt the undeniable power of the moment. I hope you can feel the energy of this place—the raw magnificence of creation and the depth of these profound moments.
