EUSEXUA is a practice. EUSEXUA is a state of being. EUSEXUA is the pinnacle of human experience. @fkatwigs aims to capture the feeling of true freedom on her upcoming album, EUSEXUA, dropping January 24th. An electronic album inspired by her time living in Prague – where she enjoyed anonymity and immersed herself in rave culture and nightlife – twigs created this project to illustrate true presence, a visceral connection to the body, and an escape from surveillance society. Along with the coining of the term EUSEXUA, FKA twigs has created THE ELEVEN, eleven pillars of movement, designed to be a form of self-healing, every one being informed by her lifelong study of movement as a dancer. Interviewed by her friend and renowned artist @imogenheap , twigs and Imogen touch on topics ranging from sexual liberation, the constraints of modern society, and the journey to EUSEXUA. The two practice their rituals of movement and creation together in Los Angeles, CA.
