hello!! happy early valentinees 💕💕 a while ago, I bought a set of Marie's Chinese Painting Colours (24 colours, 12ml), and some Chinese painting brushes 🌱 They sat under my bed for a couple of years but now I'm finally testing them out! :) saying goodbye to art block by force
Chinese paints can be diluted with water, but they are NOT watercolours 🎋
They're usually used to paint Guohua (Traditional Chinese painting), on rice paper or silk 🎋
I'm used to using watercolours, so I've used them the 'wrong' way in this video, but I'll try them out properly on rice paper later - maybe in another video 💌
