Compressed Air Supercharging Returns - Here's Where It All Began

There's lots of talk about the hot new power adder on the block...force feeding engines compressed air stored in onboard tanks. While the hardware currently being used is all new and original design, the concept itself is well over fifty years old and was employed with various levels of success by several racers.
