Color Management in Resolve. Again, simple but not always easy. Let's take a look.
If you're using HDR, 10bit and/or log footage in your project it might show up looking... odd. Gray? Washed out? Blah? Wasn't this supposed to be better looking?
Let's take a look at why that happens and a few things to do about it. We'll use Resolve's built in color management feature where we can, manual input color space settings where we can't, with LUT's and manual color grading thrown in for good measure.
Production notes:
Facecam is Sony ZV-e10 with onboard mic (and Voice Iso in Resolve), desktop captured with Camtasia (for cursor effects) and edited in Resolve. In this case I'm trying the V.20 Beta 3. Ambient light, for the most part, with one table lamp on the computer desk: I forgot to pack my usual Neewer HS60b.)
