The early July apples are ready for picking. This yellow transparent apple tree has seen some damage over the last few years, but it has provided my family with delicious applesauce and apple cider this summer. In this episode, I harvest apples and cook them into applesauce, bake an old-fashioned applesauce cake, and begin the fermentation of apple cider vinegar.
