When chemistry students see that “natural log” in the Clausius-Clapeyron equation, they understandably get a little nervous. In this video, we’ll do a quick review of logarithms before tackling a full Clausius-Clapeyron equation example problem and solution.
A lot of times with the Clausius-Clapeyron formula, your goal is calculating vapor pressure from boiling point and enthalpy of vaporization. In some chemistry problems, you’ll need to rearrange the equation to solve for another variable, like temperature or pressure. Either way, we’ve got you covered.
