Citroën SM - French style meets Italian power in this innovative GT | Tyrrell's Classic Workshop

Fresh from it's excursions at the hands of Hammond and Clarkson on The Grand Tour's 'Carnage a Trois' special, this stunning Citroën SM, previously owned by Mike Brewer (he of Wheeler Dealers fame) has arrived in the workshop, ready for the attention of Iain and his team. It was impossible to ignore shining the spotlight on this 1970's French exotic straight away! Iain delves in to the history of this car that broke the mould in France as Citroën created a high-performance luxury grand-tourer. Having bought Maserati in 1968, Citroën combined a V6 crafted by Guilio Alfieri with in-house styling by Robert Opron to create this masterpiece, full of technical innovations well ahead of it's time. Circumstances meant that just under 13,000 were produced in total.
