CHINA HIGH SPEED BUSINESS CLASS TRAIN From Chengdu to Guilin

It was not cheap but was a great experience and we wanted to do it at least once on our 23 day Epic China Trip. We started the day at our hotel, the Crowne Plaza Chengdu City Centre before getting a taxi to Chengdu East Train Station. At the train station we were able to go through the business class entrance and bypass the main security to get into the business class lounge. At the business class lounge we had complementary drinks and snacks and then when it was time to board our train we were led there by one of the stewardesses. We were the first to board the train which was the G3705 travelling from Chengdu to Guangzhou but we would be getting off at Guilin West Station. We had just a great journey in our amazing seats and the views were spectacular. When we finally departed the train at Guilin we got a taxi to our hotel the Holiday Inn Express Guilin City Centre and then because of the heavy rain stayed in the room until evening when we went out to look for food along the Guilin snack streets.
