The Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water and the Clean Energy Regulator hosted a joint webinar on 27 May 2025 for industry to learn more about the upcoming Cheaper Home Batteries Program.
From 1 July 2025, eligible battery systems will be supported under the Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme (SRES). Final scheme rules and eligibility requirements are dependent on regulations and this webinar will provide an overview of the current state of the program and offer an opportunity for industry to ask questions ahead of implementation.
