The Athens Riviera Open top Bus Tour. 20 Euros for a ticket! Is it worth it? and should you do this Riviera tour, or the Central Athens tour?

This is my Athens Guide from the open top bus tour for the Athens Riviera, Greece. Two companies offer the bus tour and is best booked directly with them online. Both incidentally seem to share the same bus for this tour, whilst operating separate busses for the Central Athens tour route.
It only departs every 120 minutes, or 2 hours, so check the online timetables to ensure you do not hang around too long or miss the bus. The total tour route takes about 110 minutes
The price is 20 euros for adults and 8 euros for children, which is high, but worth it if you plan and use it correctly. It is cheap compared to a taxi.
One ticket buys both routes, the Athens Riviera route, and the Central Athens Route.
There are 15 stops at key sites around the city, but we started at the Acropolis, where the bus also returns too. From here you can stop at the The Flisvos Marina, Stavros Niarchos Cultutal Foundation, Edem Beach, Alimos Marina, Kalamaki Beach, Glyfada, and Vouliagmeni and Astir Beach before the bus turns back to the Acropolis at Vouliagmeni Lake.
My advice it to use it as a taxi around Athens, there are 16 stops at all the major sites along the Riviera, and it is easy to hop on or off, but it is busy so be warned that in August it may be difficult to get back on at the major stops.
