Celestron EdgeHD compared to the Classic C8

In this video I will try to illustrate the similarities as well as the differences between the classic C8 and the EdgeHD 800. I decided to buy the EdgeHD 8" when I saw one offered on a local telescope second hand market. It was a good deal and in this video I hope to show that it certainly has its benefits. There are better reducers for the classic C8 available as the original Celestron 0.63x reducer/flattener I show in this video. In native focal length though, the EdgeHD is flat as well, whereas the C8 shows field curvature. It is not -that- apparent though when shooting with a cropped sensor as I have in the ASI294MC Pro.
