If you’ve just installed a replacement Powertrain Control Module, or Body Control Module on your GM vehicle, and you are wondering why the vehicle still won’t run, the module Installation is not complete until you relearn the ignition key(s). Many GM vehicles are equipped with an anti-theft system, and need to go through a simple relearn process, allowing the PCM / BCM to recognize the ignition keys.
