So I was craving pecan pie...
1 bag chopped pecans
Caramel Sauce
In a pan mix:
1 stick butter melted
Vanilla extract to taste
2 cups milk
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
pinch of salt
Cook on medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until desired color and consistency
Mix the pecans and caramel sauce together and pour in baking dish
Cover mixture with box cake mix (white or yellow will do/any brand)
Cover with1-2 sticks of butter (salted or unsalted)
Bake at 350 degrees 45 min.-1 hr. (Watch so it doesn’t burn). I like mine brown
