Can we get the same sharpness from a cheaper lens? Is Canon L series really THAT much better? In this video, we aim to answer these questions by unboxing the Canon RF 800 F11 while comparing it to my personally favorite lens: Canon's 100-500. We will keep the lens zoomed to its maximum range, and will pair it with the Canon RF 1.4x teleconverter for an effective and comparable focal length of 700mm and a maximum aperture of f/10. We will keep this lens set to f/11 to match our 800mm and will offer side-by-side image detail analysis. Aside from the obvious differences with size, weather sealing, aperture, minimum focus, autofocus, image stabilization, and more, this video leaves a lot to discuss! Join us as we explore the similarities and differences between these two fundamentally different setups!
