Can you beat S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl using only shotguns?

This is my first challenge run on one of my favorite games! The biggest obstacle faced in a shotgun only run in any STALKER game is the sheer distance with which you fight. I didn't intend for it to be so long, but let me know what you think!
