My Dad bought his first computer in 1979—well, technically he helped his younger brother buy it.
The Apple ][ was the first personal computer anyone in the Geerling family owned (to my knowledge!), and it shifted the career of both Geerling brothers who logged many hours learning Basic, Assembly, and more!
After Mark (my uncle) died, my aunt left this computer (along with her old Macintosh Classic!) to me to restore and keep going, and I am happy to bring it to another generation of Geerlings—and share this experience unboxing a computing time capsule—46 years later!
