Does the *Behringer WAVE* emulate the limitations of 1980s digital technology to give us the same character as the *PPG Wave*? And if so, does it have to or can it sound more modern?
The big ones (for me at least) are
1. Imaging on the low end
2. Aliasing at the top
3. Discrete waveshapes when modulating through the wavetables, and the
4. LFO.
This isn't a full demo of every aspect - I've another video coming soon where I look in much more depth at how it all works, the synth architecture and the interface and menus.
This is much more about the overall tone and if it can fill a PPG sized gap in your GAS.
