This is a presentation of my 2013 INCOSE paper, "Can Systems Engineering Be Agile? Development Lifecycles for Systems, Hardware, and Software". We examine key features of agile principles and development, explain how and when they may be applicable to systems engineering, and discuss some associated risks of "agile SE".
