•❉᯽Nettle Tea ᯽❉•
Boil water and add your nettle to the pot, or pour boiling water over it. Let it steep for 5-10 minutes. The most nutritious leaves are the top ones, the first two rows. We shouldn't drink more than 2 cups per day. Add honey if desired.
Nettle tea is not only delicious but also boasts numerous health benefits, including potential support for digestion, immune function, and hair health. However, it's important to remember that we are all unique, and what works for one person may not work for another. Please consult with your doctor before trying a new herbal tea or food, especially if you have any allergies, underlying health conditions or concerns.
•❉᯽ Lavender Woodland Cookies ᯽❉•
This recipe is very simple.
Ingredients:
90g flour
40g melted butter
5-6g honey or brown sugar
1 tea spoon of dried edible lavender flowers
1 egg
Fresh fruits (berries work great, and you can add dried fruits if desired)
- Strawberry yogurt and edible flowers to decorate once the cookies have cooled down.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and egg. Mix well. Add the cooled down melted butter, honey or brown sugar, lavender flowers. Mix until everything is well combined. Add fruits.
- Shape the Cookies: Using a tablespoon as a measurement, scoop out portions of the cookie dough and place them on the prepared baking sheet. You can shape them into rounds or get creative, especially for special occasions like heart shapes for Valentine's Day.
- Bake at 175 degrees Celsius (oven fan) in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the cookies turn golden brown. Keep an eye on them to avoid over-baking.
