Cab Ride Chur - Disentis-Mustér (Rhaetian Bahn, Switzerland) train driver's view 4K

In this video, you can enjoy the winter cab ride - a train driver's view from Chur to Disentis-Mustér in Switzerland on the Rhaetian Bahn in the resolution of 4K/60 frames per second. The journey takes us from Chur to Disentis on the Rhaetian Bahn (RhB) network, on the Double-track section of the Lanquart-Chur-Thusis railway line. On the first segment from Chur to Reichenau-Tamins, we also follow what is probably the most known dual-gauge track segment, between Chur, where a standard-gauge track is interleaved with RhB meter-gauge to enable access to EMS Chemie from the standard-gauge railway network, and the EMS Chemie chemical factory and EMS-Werk station. At Reichenau-Tamins we continue on the Reichenau-Tamins to Disentis/Mustér railway (also called Vorderrheinlinie or Surselvalinie). Originally completed in 1912, this line takes us through some spectacular landscapes, primarily through the Rhine Gorge canyon (Ruinaulta), a 13-kilometer and up to 400-meter deep canyon of the Vorderrhine river that has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2008 and is best accessed by the Rhaeatian Bahn trains via the stops at Reichenau and Trin. This line is also a part of the Glacier Express (GEX), known as the “slowest express train in the world” is a direct eight-hour end-to-end connection between the major Swiss mountain resorts of Zermatt and St. Moritz. Operated by a joint venture between Matterhorn-Gotthard Bahn (MGB) and Rhaetian Bahn (RhB) on the narrow (meter-gauge) railway network in the Swiss central Alps it provides (together with Bernina Express) scenic and exclusive experience.
