Broken Bosch Hammer with no warranty and a very unhappy Customer. Simple or Expensive fix?

This is a very common problem with this particular bosch hammer, the GBH 8-45D. Iv had to repair a lot of these hammers now with the same problem. So be aware if you have one, if you hear any strange sounds, get it checked. Sadly for this one, the costumer had a bigger bill than I first thought, but it was still lower than it could have been if he had of keep running it. Online warranty extensions have to be registered and completed by the costumer with 30 days of buying.
