Transdev COASTLINER Route 840 travels from Leeds to Thornton-le-Dale several times a day. It continues to Whitby four times a day, through North York Moors National Park. It is considered to be BRITAIN'S MOST SCENIC BUS ROUTE. Despite the recorded commentary provided by Transdev it is a regular all year bus route, not a tourist bus.
