A true bread pudding recipe traditionally doesn't involve layering slices of buttered bread with custard but rather uses bread mixed directly with a custard mixture and often includes additional ingredients for flavour and texture.

Ingredients:
- 4 cups of stale bread, cubed (hearty bread like French or sourdough works well)
- 2 cans (379 ml per can ) of Evaporated Milk, whole milk, or heavy cream for a richer pudding
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
- 1/2 cup (75g) raisins or a mix of dried fruit (optional)
- Butter for greasing the pan
Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter.
oven 350°F (175°C). 45 mins
Air fryer 320°F (175°C) 35mins
