When I learned Rust, I was a Python programmer. This meant that I had no idea what a pointer was. Luckily, the Rust compiler is a good coach. Tim is an experienced programmer with a deep interest in natural language processing, text mining, and wider forms of machine learning and artificial intelligence. Tim is also the author of "Rust in Action", published by Manning. He is very active in open source communities including the New Zealand Open Source Society.
