Bottomless Turns Off the Niseko Peak (Gate 3) 💯

The sketchiest summit hike I've ever done. Shortly followed by untracked turns in bottomless pow on the way down! ⭐️Watch Next: https://youtu.be/W8vv8SU9Udo A string of events caused the day to start off sour on a 30cm+ pow day. However, I wasn't going to let that stop me from the day ahead (or at least I tried). It was unsure if Gate 3 was going to open due to questionable snow conditions and gale force winds. We decided to make our way towards the "Pizza Box" chair in the off chance that it would open, hoping to get back on the front foot on such a good pow day. We lucked out and got to the lift almost just as it opened and set off on our journey up to the summit. What I wasn't ready for was the most intense and scary hike up to the summit that I would ever embark on (I've done it probably 100 times by now). This was shortly followed by possibly the best descent down of my life, with more than waist deep, untracked pow almost all the way to the bottom.
