Spruce gum pitch melting and filtering method. I then proceed to seal and waterproof the inside seams and holes inside the canoe hull. I then proceed to insert the ribs and sheathing. After trimming the ribs to exact sizing each rib is carefully inserted and hammered in place. I also show how to insert one of the headboards. The canoe is now a real canoe or boat.
