Overview: Heading to the Southwest is a great escape from the wet and dreary PNW winters. After my adventure with Rob in Utah, I was looking for another challenging desert ride I could do sometime in late January 2023 and landed on the Queen's Ransom. This ride was particularly exciting for me, as I would get a taste of the Arizona Trail, which I have day dreamed about riding since I started bikepacking. My plan tickets gave me 6 days to do the route. I ended up doing it in 5 which even still proved to be a challenging ride for me. I really enjoyed this route!
