BIGGEST Zeelander Ever! Zeelander 8 Tour, Sea Trial & Review

The Zeelander 8 sits at the top of this rather wonderful range of express cruisers and in this video, Jack Haines gives you an in-depth sea trial and walkthrough tour. The 8 is a pretty unique offering with its sumptuous lines and a look that, despite its size, follows the same ethos as the smaller boats in the range. But does a boat like this work on this scale? Performance certainly isn't an issue thanks to quadruple Volvo Penta IPS1200 engines sporting 900hp each and capable of propelling this big cruiser to a top speed of 35 knots. Thanks to an 8,000-litre fuel capacity it will cruise for over 500nm at 26 knots and over 3,000nm at 7 knots! It's a highly bespoke machine so the layout is flexible but the cockpit comprises a sociable seating area aft, which connects to a bar on the main deck with a drop-down window that links this outdoor area to the bright saloon. Below deck, there are three double cabins as standard with space for three crew, forward, though this crew accommodation can be replaced with a VIP suite instead.
