In this video, I shared a step by step tutorial on how to setup a fully functioning Bias FX iPad guitar rig that will involve MIDI switching using iRig Blueboard foot controller. You will need an iPad, an interface(I'm using iRig Pro Duo), a MIDI foot controller(I'm using iRig Blueboard), and some power devices: iRig PowerBridge, 9V 1Spot adapter, and a micro USB phone charger. Together, we will assemble the rig, and setup all the apps: Bias FX, Bias Amp, and Blueboard, and make them all work perfectly.
First we will list all the items and softwares that we will need, then I will show how to assemble the hardware, and setup the software so that everything works together. On the last part of the video, I will show you how to create your own patch from scratch inside Bias FX, and how to make sure that the Blueboard MIDI controller buttons are properly assigned and synced to the corresponding Bias FX patches or assigned effects.
🎸 TONECLOUD PRESETS (search them inside ToneCloud in Bias FX)
1. Gary W High Gain - high gain distortion sound, very percussive, but warm and not too harsh. Good for metal and rock
2. Gary W Mid Gain - medium gain rock sound, classic tube amp overdrive sound.
3. Gary W Clean Wet Modulated - clean guitar sound with delay, reverb, and chorus to make the tone sound lush and wet.
4. Gary W Clean to Mid to High Gain - all in one patch that will cover all the tone that you need from clean to mid gain to high gain, with controllable amp switch, overdrive, delay, and boost individual control on the Live View
