2) I am going with all deep hive bodies, when it comes time to size or scale down in fall, what does that mean, what do you do? I am in upstate New York.
3) What is the reason that bee-hive frames are tapered? I want to build frames for my Layens Hive.
YouTube Channel: BeeKeepersWorkshop shows you how to make hive equip.
HorizontalHive.com has plans for the Layens Hive Frames so you can make your own.
4) Would it be advisable to add sodium to the sugar syrup that I feed my bees?

5) Are your winter entrance reducers placed slot up, or slot down?
6) What are your thoughts regarding Warre Hives?

7) Hour hive bottom boards look really solid, do you make them? If so, please post plans.
8) I cut comb and include it in my 8 oz jars of honey, is it ok to include some pollen remnants in the bottoms of the cells?
9) I plan to build slatted racks for both hives. Can I place the hives on them at any time? When do you recommend replacing frames?
10) Do bees make more wax comb during sunny, or rainy days?
