Backpacking the Bob with Bob! Holland Lake loop Bob Marshall Wilderness full video

This video goes back a few years to a fun trip I did with my good friend Bob up in the Bob Marshall Wilderness of Montana. This was Bob's first trip to the Bob, which is one of the largest wilderness complexes in America, and offers up an endless supply of backpacking opportunities in one of the lower 48 state's wildest places. This particular trip was very laid back, although we hiked in before trail crew cleared the trail, and had to step over lots and lots of blowdown. Over the last 6 years or so I've been doing a lot of Bob Marshall trips - mostly in late May and June - sometimes early July - but that's when it starts getting super hot. It's become one of my favorite spots for many reasons, and hides some of the best backcountry ridge walking in America - but you got to go off trail to find it! Over time (probably will take a few years) I will be posting numerous videos from Bob trips, both from the past and future.
