Baby Found with 50+ Rat Bites in Sickening Home

Three people were arrested after a 6-month-old baby was found with over 50 rat bites, and left with severe injuries. Officers arrived at the home in Evansville, Indiana after the child’s father, David Shonabaum, 28, called 911 saying he found the infant in his bassinet covered in blood. But when officers arrived and noticed the home’s condition, David, the child’s mother, Angel Schonabaum, 28, and the child’s aunt, Delaina Thurman, 25, were all booked for various charges including neglect of a dependent among others.
