B2 First (FCE) Speaking Part 2 ADVICE - Should you DESCRIBE the pictures?

For Part 2 of the FCE (B2 First) Speaking exam, many students believe they should describe two pictures and then answer a question. However is this the best strategy for Part 2 of the Cambridge B2 First (FCE) Speaking exam? Many teachers encourage their students to do this in preparation for their B2 First (FCE) Cambridge exam, but it may not be the best strategy. This video provides an alternative strategy. Instead of simply describing the pictures I advise students to immediately answer the question. Why do I ask students to do this?
