Axe Restoration and Customization | Dr Restoration

In this video I restore customize an antique hewing axe. I start by removing the handle and then dipping the axe head into an electrolysis bath to remove the rust. Next I sandblast the axe head. I found the shape to be a bit boring so I decided to shape the axe head into a small battle axe shape with a spike on the back. Once the axe head was complete i carved a handle out of purple heart and then craft a matching sheath. I hope you guys enjoy, if you do leave a like and a comment.
