Australians On The Western Front (WWI Series)
From 1914 to 1918, the world was engulfed in a conflict that cost literally millions of lives. The most famous of those battlegrounds was to be found across a 400-mile stretch of trench lines in France and Belgium, known as the Western Front. Prominent in the fight were men of the Australian Imperial Force. In this video, the first in a series, we explore the contribution made by 'Diggers' who fought, and in many cases, fell, in the First World War.
