Astrophotography from the Coast | Nightscape Adventure | Landscape Photography | Chasing Dark Skies

At the end of January 2025, I embarked on a 3 night astrophotography adventure that took me across 4 countries, starting out on the UK's east coast. The striking structure of Dovercourt Lighthouse stands just south of the the Port of Harwich, from where I was to take my ferry towards the rest of the adventure. I couldn't let a clear night and such a fantastic structure go to waste, even if it did mean cutting it quite fine for the ferry! ______________ I use this channel to share my experiences of being out in the landscape at night photographing the night sky. I want to inspire others to give it a go, and also provide a route for those who can't get out to enjoy some of the experience.
