Something tells me you probably wouldn't. 😉 Truth is, many of you have told me how much you enjoy the interplay between plastic and paper crinkles when you want to relax or experience tingles. It presents the best of both worlds: crackly crinkles alternated with thin, almost raindrop-like plastic crinkles. If done right, it works like magic. ✨ This video was filmed after returning from a birthday lunch (not mine), with a brain abuzz with party adrenaline and too much sugar. There had been loud music, so many jokes I failed to remember even one, and a horde of jubilant children squealing at the top of their young lungs; I swear, when you closed your eyes it sounded like the audience at a pop concert losing its mind as the band comes on stage. (Where are those earplugs? 🙉) After the party, it was difficult to wind down and reset my brain to its baseline. Reading didn't work, listening to podcasts didn't work, nor did watching YouTube. Frustration levels: ⏫ But then my eye caught the stack of recipes lying on the table, awaiting my attention. And next to it, the phone I'm using to film. Well, I sighed, I might as well get moving and sort these recipes in plastic sheet protectors. Work off the adrenaline, that way. And you know what, it worked like a charm. Within 15 minutes, a state of flow enwrapped me in a warm hug, enveloping body and mind with soothing crinkle sounds and a sense of perfect contentment. Baseline restored.
